BEAUMONT, Texas – The Idaho women's tennis team (2-1) completed a perfect weekend road trip, earning its second win in a row with a 6-1 victory over Lamar.
Sunday's victory was the second consecutive 6-1 result on the weekend after the Vandals beat Nicholls on Friday. Idaho's match against McNeese State was canceled due to unplayable court conditions on Saturday.
The doubles team of and started off play with a dominant 6-2 win on court two. and delivered a 6-4 win at No. 2 to help give the Vandals an early lead.
Beckx followed up her doubles success with a straight-set victory on court six.
