MOSCOW, Idaho – Beyonce Bea and Louise Forsyth combined to go 8 of 11 for 19 points in the fourth quarter as the Idaho Vandals (8-16, 7-8) erased a 14 point second deficit to defeat the Montana Grizzlies (16-9, 9-7) 70-69 Monday afternoon at ICCU Arena.
The Vandals shot 64.3 as a team in the fourth quarter and held the Griz to just 4-12 shooting to secure the come from behind win.
"We were down 54-40 and I said 'look, it's now or never guys, we are not going to let this happen here, not in our place,'" Head Coach Jon Newlee said.
