BOISE, Idaho— The Idaho women's tennis team took to the courts at Boise State in the Barb Chandler tournament, which will take place throughout the weekend, Oct 26-28.
Seven Vandals competed in the opening day of the Barb Chandler Classic on Friday.
Idaho dominated in the doubles as Laura Spataro/Maggie Chen and Maria Tavares/Shion Watabe defeated their counterparts in the Round of 16 Blue Draw, while Marta Magalhães /Anna Findley defeated a pair from Montana to advance to the semifinals.
In singles action, Spataro and Tavares were able to win their respective Rounds of 16 to advance to the quarterfinals.
