MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho Vandal women's golf head coach Staphanie Young has announced the signing of Spanish golfer Laura Caamaño to a National Letter of Intent to join the Vandal program ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Caamaño is a native of Vigo, Spain, on the country's West Coast, just North of the Portuguese border.
She is currently the 718th ranked amateur in the world and has been competing on the national championship stage since she was eight years old. She has played in several Spanish Championships as a member of the Galicia State Team.
"We are thrilled to welcome Laura Caamaño to Moscow," Young said.
