LEWISTON, Idaho - Idaho Women's Cross Country earned its first team victory of the 2023 season at the LC State Invitational Saturday morning, while the men took third. The Vandal women, reigning champions of the meet, took the top spot among the eight team slate with 26 points and the men secured third with 94.
With three top-five finishers and five in the top 15, the Vandal women cruised into first in the 5K. Katja Pattis once again led the way earning second and crossing the finish line at 17:01. Senior Leah Holmgren followed right behind in third with a new personal best of 17:12.
