SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Valeria Patino carded an even-par 72 to tie for fifth place after one round of the Big Sky Championship at Talking Stick Golf Course. Her round pushed the Vandals into fourth place with two rounds to play in Arizona.
Patino is knocked in three birdies and an eagle on the par-five seventh to end the day even. She is four strokes back from the leaders Ekaterina Malakhova from Northern Arizona and Jennifer Koga from Sacramento State.
