PHOENIX – The Vandal women finished eighth, second among Big Sky schools, at the 19-team Grand Canyon Invite at the Grand Canyon Championship Course in Phoenix.
Yvonne Vinceru led the way for Idaho, tied for 26th with a three-round score of 223. Eddie Hsu tallied the best Vandal round of the day, a 74 to finish tied for 29th at 224 and Vicky Tsai closed her weekend a stroke behind Hsu with a 225.
Valeria Patino finished tied for 59th with a 230 and Jenna Bruggeman was tied for 76 with a three-round 236.
