Vandal Volleyball Drops Match at Portland State

MOSCOW, Idaho -- The Idaho volleyball team (4-21, 1-12 BSC) fell in three sets to Portland State (15-10, 10-4 BSC), 9-25, 15-25, 15-25, Thursday night at Viking Pavilion.

Offensively, freshman middle hitter Madison Wilson led the Vandals with eight kills while outside hitter Olivia Gloeckner pitched in five kills.

Setter Kate Doorn logged her 21st double-digit assist showing, with 15 assists and five digs.

Defensively, libero Aine Doty supplied six digs and outside hitter posted three blocks to lead Idaho.

For the Vikings, Makayla Lewis spearheaded the PSU attack with 13 kills, while teammates Parker Webb and Ashlyn Blotzer also reached double figures in kills with 12 each.
