NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Idaho track and field team had a huge year in the classroom, earning United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team Awards on both the men's and women's sides. Individually, nine men and three women were named All-Academic athletes.
The women posted the second highest grade point average in the nation, finishing with a cumulative GPA of 3.789. The men also had an outstanding year with a cumulative GPA of 3.563, the sixth highest nationally.
On the men's side, nine Vandals were named All-Academic Athletes.
