OGDEN, Utah — Idaho women's soccer couldn't overcome an early deficit on the road, falling 3-1 to Weber State in Big Sky Conference play Sunday afternoon at Wildcat Soccer Field.
The Vandals (3-4-5, 0-1-1 Big Sky) fell behind in the 15th minute when Weber State broke through on a corner. The Wildcats added two more goals early in the second half to stretch their lead to 3-0.
Idaho answered in the 67th minute when Sara Rodgers netted her second goal of the season, finishing off a corner kick from Bella Gissendanner to pull the Vandals within two.
