UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – Colt Sherrell finished second and Jose Suryadinata birdied his final three holes to move into third place to lead Idaho to the team title at the 2023 Redhawk Invitational at Chambers Bay.
The Vandals led wire-to-wire finished one-over for the tournament as a team, finished 11 strokes ahead of host Seattle U and Pac-12 foe Oregon State who tied for second at 12-over on the team score. Northern Colorado was fourth at 13-over and Michigan State finished 14-over for fifth place in the competitive field.
Sherrell was two-under on the back nine to get to even on the day and four-under for the tournament.
