MOSCOW, Idaho – University of Idaho head men's golf coach David Nuhn has announced the addition of graduate transfer Johannes Hounsgaard.
Housngaard comes to Idaho from Grand Canyon University where he played for two seasons. Prior to that he competed for Wayland Baptist where he was a GCAA NAIA All-American. He was the medalist for the 2019 Sooner Athletic Conference Championship.
Hounsgaard is originally from Munich, Germany, where he was the second-ranked player in Bavaria as a junior player.
"Johannes is a tremendous golfer and brings another strong veteran to our lineup," Nuhn said.
