More than any other position group, the key players in special teams all return from last season. A group that had consistent kicking and punting, no blocked kicks allowed or dropped snaps, a blocked kick and a punt last season and both a kick return and punt return touchdown.
Idaho was the picture of consistency, and it comes back to the mindset that the Vandals bring to the third phase of the game.
“We don't want to just be out there to be out there,” Special Teams Coordinator Thomas Ford said. “We're not obligated to play special teams, it's an opportunity for us.
