MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women’s basketball seniors and Mark Kovacs of men’s tennis have been named the Vandal Athletes of the Week.
Ali Forde, Christina Salvatore, Connie Ballestero, Renae Mokrzycki and Tayla Corrigan have helped establish Idaho Women’s basketball as perennial conference-title contenders. In their time at Idaho this group helped Idaho to its first conference championship in 28 years. With their help the Vandals won back-to-back Western Athletic Conference titles in 2013 and 2014, going on to play in consecutive NCAA Tournaments.
