The Vandals brought back the black and white look for Saturday’s game.
The black pants with gold accents stood out against the Mountaineers’ ravishing yellow pants.
The matte gold Idaho helmets were distracting when the sun peaked but that’s only a minor complaint.
Overall, the black and white uniforms weren’t a bad choice. I enjoyed its simplicity compared to the exotic designs often seen today.
