LAWRENCE, Kan. – Idaho had a tremendous day of competition at the NCAA Championships First Round, with two Vandals advancing. Kinsey Gomez and Arphaxad Carroll will both represent Idaho in two weeks at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore.
“I thought it was a good day for the Vandals,” said director of track and field Tim Cawley. “Having two go on to the finals is exciting. The one thing I’ll say about this group, through all the delays and things getting pushed back and changed, they didn’t complain.
