Track and Field Wrap Up WSU Open, Earn Many New Personal Bests

SPOKANE, Wash. – Idaho track and field had a weekend full of personal bests at the Washington State Open at The Podium in Spokane. Zac Bright, Katja Pattis, and Noah Culbertson earned spots on the podium in their respective events against a very talented field of athletes.

The competition was stiff as the Vandals faced Pac-12 schools such as Arizona State, California, Colorado State, and UCLA in addition to Big Sky conference members.

The two-day event kicked off on Friday with the women's weight throw. Freshman, Mia Sylvester threw for a personal best distance of 15.
