The Idaho track and field squad headed to Seattle, Washington, to compete in the Husky Classic. A number of Vandals posted top-marks and set new personal records, particularly in the field events.
Freshman Rechelle Meade grabbed the victory in the high-jump with a jump of 1.75 meters, a new personal record. This mark lands her into a tie for second in the conference. Meade picked up another first place win and new personal record in the long jump with a hop of 5.81 meters.
Senior Katelyn Peterson also came out strong in the high jump with a fourth place finish with a 1.
