Moscow, Idaho - On March 12th, 2016 the Idaho Women's Basketball team defeated Idaho State 67-55 to win the Big Sky Championship, earning the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The win marked the third conference championship in four years (two WAC and 1 Big Sky) for Head Coach and the Vandals. 2016's championship team featured Splash Sisters and in their freshmen year prior to etching their name in Idaho and NCAA record books.
