MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track & Field program is excited to announce the signing of Karina Moreland, a talented jumper from Tualatin High School in Oregon.
Moreland has multiple times been an all-state performer. She placed third in the triple jump at the Oregon State High School Championships as a junior and she also finished seventh in the long jump. During her sophomore year Moreland finished fifth at the Oregon State meet.
Moreland has a personal best of 38’ 3 1/2” in the triple jump, a mark that would be ranked fourth in the Big Sky Conference at this time.
