One of the Splash Sisters isn’t done raining 3-pointers just yet.
Senior guard Taylor Pierce was selected to participate in the Women’s 3-Point Championship for the 31st annual State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championship per an Intersport report. The event will take place Thursday April 4 in the Target Center in Minneapolis.
Pierce earned her invitation to the event after putting together one of the best shooting seasons in history. She set the NCAA single-season record for 3-pointers in a season with 154, and her final average of 4.53 makes per game is the best mark in the nation.
