MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) celebrated the past year at its annual Silver and Goldspys, hosted at the Pitman Center.
Freshman Male Athlete of the Year: Logan Floyd started all 11 games for the Vandals in 2018, earning Phil Steele Freshman All-America First Team recognition. He missed just 11 of 975 total snaps on offense on the year.
Freshman Female Athlete of the Year: Gina Marxen started 31 of 34 games as a true freshman, finishing the year averaging 8.6 points per games. She dished out four assists per game and shot better than 41 percent from beyond the arc to earn Big Sky Freshman of the Year.
