FARMINGTON, Utah – Zack Short has once again been named the Big Sky Conference Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon. The honor is the second consecutive win for Short.
Short won the shot put at the OSU High Performance Meet this weekend. His mark of 19.51m/64'0.25" was a season's best for the senior. It also keeps him in first in the Big Sky and 17th on the national performance list. Short also competed in the discus at the meet. His mark of 50.71m/166'4" is the 11th best performance this year in the conference.
