RENO, Nev. – Sophomore guard Victor Sanders has been recognized by the league’s coaches, earning All-Big Sky Second Team honors.
Sanders led the squad in scoring at 16 points per game during the regular season. He topped 20 points seven times, including four times in conference play. Sanders appeared in 24 games and scored in double-figures 21 times.
Often overlooked, Sanders’ talents on the defensive end were just as crucial to Idaho’s success. He averaged 1.3 steals per game on the year, the best average on the squad, and recorded 15 blocks, many of the highlight-reel variety.
