FARMINGTON, Utah – Sam Johnson put together three rounds in the 60s, highlighted by a final round 67 to lead the Idaho Vandals at the SIUE Dolenc Invitational at the Gateway National Course in Madison, Ill. For his efforts, he was named the Big SKy Golfer of the Week.
Johnson finished fifth in the field with a final score of nine-under 204 for the tournament.
It was the second top-10 finish for Johnson in just three Vandal tournaments. He finished seventh at the Ram Masters Invitational in Colorado Springs in early September.
