Senior Austin Rehkow (Spokane Valley, Wash./Central Valley High School) was honored as the Sun Belt Conference Special Teams Player of the Week after his four field goals helped the Vandals top Louisiana-Monroe at Warhawk Stadium last Saturday. Rehkow was good on all four field goals he attempted but the last – a 27-yarder as time expired, wound up the game-winner.
Rehkow was called on to finish the Vandals' first three drives. His kicks of 28, 34 and 32 yards gave Idaho a 9-0 first-quarter lead. He also was successful on both PAT kicks he attempted and had yet another standout punting game.
