MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men’s basketball team got together for one final time on Tuesday to celebrate one of the most successful seasons in program history.
The Vandals posted the ninth best record in team history, winning 21 games for the first time since the 1992-93 season. Idaho advanced to the semifinals of the Big Sky Tournament in Reno and earned a bid to the College Basketball Invitational.
“This team, this team holds a special place in my heart,” said head coach Don Verlin. “With all they went through, and all the adversities that they battled through, I won’t ever forget this team.
