MALIBU, Calif. - Idaho women's tennis senior Marianna Petrei dropped a three-set match Friday, in the round of 16 at the 2018 Oracle ITA Masters. Petrei took on 18th-ranked Kate Fahey of Michigan - the number-two seed in the tournament - and won the first set before falling 2-6, 6-2, 6-1. Petrei was making her third appearance at the ITA Masters, an event that pits 32 of the best male and female college tennis student-athletes in the nation against each other.

One individual from each Division I conference receives an invitation, while at-large selections are used to fill in the remaining field.
