MOSCOW, Idaho – University of Idaho senior defender, Alyssa Peters was named the 2023 United Soccer Coaches NCAA D1 Women's All-West Region Second-Team, the association announced recently.
Peters helped lead the Vandals to a 12-5-2 record and to Idaho Soccer's first Big Sky Championship. Savannah Foster received this award last year but was awarded third team. The last time a Vandal received this award for second team was in 2018 by Kelly Dopke and Peters is the fourth Vandal in history.
Peters had eight assists in the 2023 season, which ranked first in the Big Sky and 34th in the NCAA.
