MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track and Field program is thrilled to announce the commitment of John Peckham of Sisters High School in Central Oregon.
John is an exceptionally talented distance runner and State Champion in cross country in Oregon. John won the Oregon 4A State Cross Country title his junior year in 2019. Oregon is just now starting to race a cross country season in his senior year. John did race twice in the fall of 2020, however, for his club team and recorded a win and personal best over 5000m on a cross country course when he ran 15:32 at the Big Foot Invite in Tillamook, Ore.
