Nuhn Voted Coach of the Year

OGDEN, Utah—Idaho men’s golf coach David Nuhn was voted the 2016 Big Sky Coach of the Year the conference announced on Tuesday. Nuhn took over the Idaho program midway through the season.

Hired on January 13, the former Vandal standout guided Idaho to its second consecutive Big Sky championship. The Silver and Gold set a new low 54-hole score, totaling a 22-under 842 last week at the Boulder Creek Golf Club. The Vandals became just the fourth school in Big Sky history to win multiple conference titles.

Nuhn helped five Vandals receive All-Conference honors in 2016.
