Ormanie Arnold added a touchdown as time expired on a scoop and score during the ensuing kickoff, leading the Vandals to a 36-27 victory over the Hornets.
Idaho never trailed and kept their opening drive score streak alive with a field goal by Chavez from the 29-yard line. The Hornets responded, equalizing the game from 36 yards on the ensuing drive with 4:39 to play in the first quarter.
