Idaho came out strong in doubles action, posting the first win at doubles No. 1. Carlos Longhi Neto and Lucas Coutinho downed Idaho State, 6-4, to gain the first game of the match. The Bengals responded with two victories of their own pocketing the doubles point and a 1-0 lead heading into the singles round.
