EL MACERO, Calif. – The University of Idaho men's golf team holds the sole possession of 9th place after the first round at the El Macero Classic on Saturday. As a team, the Vandals carded a 7-over, 288 in the opening 18 holes at the El Macero Country Club.
"Overall, the guys played hard today, start to finish," said head coach David Nuhn. "Very pleased with the team effort. I think all Vandals have a few things to focus on for tomorrow and I'm thinking we can improve on today's team score in the next couple rounds.
