MOSCOW, Idaho – Gevani McCoy and Hayden Hatten were named to the Walter Payton Award Finalist list, presented FedEx Ground and awarded by Stats Perform.
Idaho is one of just three schools (Holy Cross, South Dakota State) to have two players on the list, which consists of 30 players.
Hatten has had a stellar regular season, catching 75 passes for 985 yards and nine touchdowns. He averaged 89.5 yards per game and earned a week-one Big Sky Player of the Week honors. He caught 11 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns against Montana and had 175 receiving and a touchdown against Weber State.
