LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Sarah Mabee-Hall won the 200 and 500 free, while Aileen Pannecoucke captured the 100 free and Cara Jernigan won the 100 breaststroke as the Idaho Vandals opened the new year with a 180-120 loss to New Mexico State.
Mabee-Hall won the 200 in 1 minute, 56.33 seconds, while she was clocked in 5:14.89 in the 500. Jernigan won the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.99 with Pappencoucke winning the 50 free in 54.29.
Runner-up finishes went to Vivian Crowe in the 200 fly (2:10.49), Sami Hendricks in the 50 free (25.22), Erica King in the 200 back (2:11.
