BOISE—Freshman Carlos Longhi Neto highlighted the weekend for the Idaho men's tennis team at the Dar Walters Fall Classic. Longhi Neto went a perfect 6-0 on his way to the B draw championship on Sunday. All eight Vandals combined for a 19-11 record over the three day tournament.
Longhi Neto did not drop a set all weekend. He began the tournament with two wins on Friday to advance to Saturday's round of 16. His 6-2, 6-1 win over Brigham Young's Sam Tullis put him into the quarterfinals where he matched up against Nevada's Peter O'Donovan.
