FARMINGTON, Utah (May 2, 2022) – University of Idaho's Grady Leonard was named Big Sky Conference's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
At the 2022 Desert Heat Classic, Leonard threw an 18.61m (61' ¾") to move into the Big Sky Conference lead and sit No. 38 in the NCAA to this point of the year.
Leonard earned his second Big Sky weekly honor this outdoor season. He was named athlete of the week three times during the indoor season.
