MOSCOW, Idaho – Maddy Lasher scored a lone goal in the first half and Kira Witte tallied her fifth-consecutive shutout this season to lead Idaho to a 1-0 win over UC Santa Barbara Sunday afternoon in the Kibbie Dome.
The Vandals pressed early and earned a 5-3 advantage in shots during the first half, but nothing found paydirt until the 29th minute when Lasher pressured a defender with the ball inside the box. She poked the ball from between the UCSB player's feet and blew past her leaving just the goalkeeper to beat.
