Kaden Elliss Drafted by New Orleans Saints

MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho linebacker Kaden Elliss was selected in the seventh round of the National Football League Draft, with the 244th overall pick by the New Orleans Saints Saturday. Elliss is the first Idaho football student-athlete selected in the NFL Draft since Korey Toomer in 2012.

A four-year starter and three-time all-conference selection, Elliss finished his Idaho career with 289 tackles, 47 for loss and 17 sacks. His 47 tackles for loss are the most by a Vandal since 2000.

As a senior, Elliss led Idaho with 16 tackles for loss and a career-high seven sacks on his way to earning first-team All-Big Sky honors.
