THE INSIDE TRACK | GALLERY Abbott is an emerging talent from the state of Oregon. During her junior year in track & field, she qualified for the Oregon State Track & Field Championships in the 1500m by placing second in the Greater Valley Conference Championships with a personal best of 4:48.62. She went on to place ninth in the 1500m at the state championships. So far in her senior season she has won 10 races on the track and has posted a new personal best time of 2:20.
