MOSCOW, Idaho – When Idaho and Montana meet this Saturday, it will mark the 90th all-time meeting in one of the biggest rivalries in FCS football. The Battle for the Little Brown Stein is one of the oldest, most heated, and unique games in all of FCS.

1903: The two flagship universities first met on the gridiron in 1903 in Moscow. Idaho won the initial matchup 28-0 on Nov. 18 in a game that The Anaconda Standard labeled as one-sided.
