MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho men's golf earned the 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Presidents Special Recognition Award for achieving a team GPA higher than 3.5. The award was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America last week.
The Vandals achieved the honor for the third year in a row and have recognized as an All-Academic Team (3.0 GPA) for every season since 2019-20. Idaho is the only 2025-26 Big Sky Conference team to earn Presidents Special Recognition.
Four Vandals; Dalton Dean, Sam Johnson, Matt McGann and Joe Sykes, earned GCAA Scholar All-America honors to lead the way on the course and in the classroom.
