BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho men's basketball team fell to the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, 87-76, Saturday night at Idaho Central Arena in the first round of the Big Sky Tournament.
The loss concludes the 2022-23 season for the Vandals with a 10-22 overall record (4-14 BSC). Despite shooting just 1-7 from the field in the final 8 minutes, Northern Arizona knocked down 15 of their 16 free throws to fend off the Vandals and move on to the second round of the tournament to face No. 1 seed Eastern Washington.
Front-court teammates Isaac Jones and Nigel Burris led the scoring effort for the Vandals with a combined 44 points.
