ST. GEORGE, Utah – The Idaho swimming and diving team dropped its final conference meet of the season, 147-115 in a matchup against Dixie State on Saturday afternoon.
The Vandals won five of the 14 events in the dual meet against the Trailblazers. Dixie State started the day by winning the first three events and capped off the meet by earning wins in the final two events.
Junior Kaling Phung got the Vandals going with a first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.21. Two events later, Bindi Pedersen earned nine points for Idaho after clocking in at 2:10.
