Idaho Falls Late at MSU

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Without its two leading scorers, Idaho (12-8, 4-3 BSC) fell at Montana State (9-11, 4-4 BSC), 70-68, on Saturday afternoon. The Vandals went deep into their bench early and got solid contributions from some unfamiliar sources, but came up just short in the end.

“We turned it over too much,” head coach Don Verlin said. “They scored a bunch of points in transition. The turnovers finally caught up to us tonight. I thought under the circumstances our guys fought hard. We had a lot of guys who haven’t played a lot this season step up.
