Moscow, ID – The Idaho track and field program began the New Year and 2016 indoor season with the Vandal Indoor Invitational this morning in the Kibbie Dome. The meet was highlighted by excellent performances across the board, the Vandals placing first in 12 out of the 28 events.
“For the first meet of the indoor season I thought we competed exceptionally,” director of track and field Tim Cawley commented. “We have started off the season very strong and I am excited for where we are.”
The day began with the mile and Idaho sophomore Tim Delcourt taking first followed closely by fellow Vandals Santos Vargas and Drew Shultz who took third and fourth, respectively.
