The fall semester just resumed but Sophie Hausmann already is on the road – for the experience of a lifetime in what is sure to be a lifetime of memorable golf experiences.
Hausmann was selected to play for her native Germany in the International Golf Federation's World Amateur Team Championships – the Olympics of amateur golf, if you will.
"I am so excited to be playing in the World Am," said Hausmann, the reigning Big Sky champion and the winner of last summer's German Amateur. "It's a great honor for me being selected within the top three of each country and playing for Germany.
