AUGUSTA, Ga. – Idaho women's golf standout Sophie Hausmann finished tied for 46th at the inaugural Augusta National Women's Amateur. Hausmann's two-round score of 7-over 157 missed the cut by four strokes. The top 30 competitors advance to Saturday's final round at Augusta National. The entire field, including Hausmann, will play an official practice round at the home of The Masters Friday.
Hausmann carded a 6-over 78 in the second round Thursday, at Champions Retreat Golf Course. Going off in the first group of the day, she opened the round with a bogey. Another bogey on four started a string of five straight holes without a par.
