OGDEN, Utah - Idaho senior Sophie Hausmann was named Big Sky Women's Co-Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday. Hausmann took sixth at the Bryan National Collegiate, followed by an appearance at the Augusta National Women's Amateur. This is her eighth career Big Sky weekly award and third of the season. She shared this week's honor with Beah Cruz from Northern Colorado.
Hausmann finished 3-under at the Bryan National Collegiate, hosted by Wak Forest, better than nine top-100 competitors in a field that featured six top-50 teams. She was the top finisher from outside the state of North Carolina.
